Your agreement with us
Your agreement with us is made up of three documents: these terms, our Shipping & Returns policy and our Privacy Policy.
Before checkout, we ask you to confirm that you've read and agree to them.
Your contract copy is emailed to you within 15 days of your order, usually the same day. It includes:
- your name and order date;
- your items and prices;
- the supply date;
- the delivery method;
- the version of these policies that applies to your order.
Products and pricing
- Appearance: colours can vary slightly between screens. Handmade and silk-floral pieces vary a little from piece to piece; that's part of their character.
- Prices: in Canadian dollars. Taxes and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Pricing errors: if a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before it ships, even after we've confirmed it.
- Payment: handled by our checkout and payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Your order
- Acceptance: your order is accepted when you receive our order confirmation.
- When we may cancel: if an item is unavailable, a payment is flagged as fraudulent, or we can't meet your event date. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.
Personalised and made-to-order pieces
You're responsible for the accuracy of the names, dates, spelling and details you give us, and for checking your proof. Production starts after your written approval. Personalised pieces are final sale, except for our own errors or defects.
Returns, refunds and cancellations
All of these are covered in our Shipping & Returns policy, which is part of these terms.
If something goes wrong
Please contact us first; most issues are solved within a day or two.
If a payment is disputed with your card issuer, we'll share the relevant order records with our payment provider to respond. These can include:
- delivery confirmation;
- your acceptance of these terms;
- dispatch and return photos;
- seal records.
Intellectual property
Our designs, photography, text and branding belong to The WedSet or its licensors. Please don't copy or reuse them commercially without our permission.
Warranties and liability
- Your legal protections: our pieces come with the conditions and warranties the law gives you, including under BC's Sale of Goods Act. We can't exclude or reduce these.
- Our limit, where the law allows:
- our total responsibility for an order is limited to what you paid for it;
- we aren't responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee when you ordered.
- What this limit doesn't cover: fraud, injury or property damage caused by our negligence, and anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You may also be protected by the consumer laws where you live.
